When a merchant signs up for Shopant, we collect account and store information such as name, email address, Shopify store details, access tokens, selected settings, and billing or order records needed to provide the service.

When Shopant is installed on a store, we may process product catalog data, inventory details, store configuration, customer support conversations, shopping intent, cart context, and checkout guidance events so the assistant can answer questions and recommend products.

When you visit our website, contact us, request a demo, or pre-order Shopant, we may collect contact details, usage analytics, referral details, and technical information such as browser, device, IP address, pages visited, and interaction events.

We use information to operate Shopant, authenticate users, connect Shopify stores, answer shopper questions, recommend relevant products, guide shoppers to checkout, process payments, provide customer support, improve reliability, measure performance, and prevent abuse.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand product performance and improve the service. We do not sell personal information.

Shopant uses Shopify APIs only for the scopes authorized by the merchant. Shopify store data is used to power the merchant's Shopant assistant and related dashboard features.

Shopant supports Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction. When we receive a valid shop redaction request, we delete connected store records and imported product data associated with that shop.

We share information with service providers only as needed to run Shopant, including hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, search/indexing, AI service providers, and Shopify integration services.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide Shopant, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Merchants can request deletion of their account or connected store data. Some records may be retained where required for legitimate business, tax, security, or legal reasons.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information, subject to applicable law. Merchants can disconnect Shopify integrations or uninstall Shopant through Shopify.

Visitors may control cookies and analytics through browser settings and device controls.

Shopant may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms to transfer and protect personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users or merchants.
