Terms of Service
Last updated: May 14, 2026
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Shopant. Please read them carefully before using our website, Shopify app, AI shopping assistant, dashboard, or related services.
Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Shopant's website, Shopify app, AI shopping assistant, dashboard, embedded storefront tools, and related services.
By using Shopant, creating an account, installing the app, placing an order, or accessing the service on behalf of a business, you agree to these terms. If you use Shopant on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
The service
Shopant provides AI-powered shopping assistance for Shopify stores, including product discovery, product recommendations, customer question answering, checkout guidance, analytics, and related merchant tools.
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. We may also add or remove features to protect security, comply with law, or improve product quality.
Accounts and merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, the security of your account credentials, and all activity under your account.
Merchants are responsible for their stores, product data, pricing, inventory, policies, customer communications, fulfillment, refunds, and compliance with applicable laws and Shopify requirements.
You must not use Shopant to mislead shoppers, violate laws, infringe rights, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the service, bypass usage limits, or upload harmful or unlawful content.
Shopify integration
Shopant connects to Shopify using permissions authorized by the merchant. You are responsible for maintaining your Shopify account, app installation, and authorized access.
If you uninstall Shopant, revoke permissions, or lose access to Shopify APIs, some or all service features may stop working.
AI outputs
Shopant uses AI systems to generate responses and recommendations. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for a specific shopper or product.
Merchants are responsible for reviewing service behavior, configuring the assistant appropriately, and ensuring that product, pricing, shipping, return, legal, and promotional information shown to shoppers is accurate.
Fees and payments
If you purchase a paid plan, pre-order, or other paid service, you agree to pay the applicable fees, taxes, and charges shown at checkout or in your agreement with Shopant.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated in writing by Shopant.
Intellectual property
Shopant and its software, designs, branding, documentation, models, workflows, and related materials are owned by Shopant or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of your store data and content. You grant Shopant the rights needed to host, process, display, analyze, and use that content to provide and improve the service.
Privacy and data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using Shopant, you also agree to the data practices described in that policy.
Disclaimers
Shopant is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free service.
We do not guarantee any specific conversion rate, revenue increase, sales outcome, search result, recommendation, or shopper behavior.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shopant will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shopant's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid to Shopant for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Shopant at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for Shopant or others, fail to pay fees, or use the service in a harmful or unlawful way.
After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users or merchants. Continued use of Shopant after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
